Recently we’ve been looking into mystery box sites and apps, and one that has jumped out at us due to its fantastic range of NBA and Pokemon packs that you can buy is Rips by Triumph.
Without needing a Rips by Triumph promo code, new users can easily download the app, sign up, and start ripping packs. In this review, we’ll also see if there are any other promos for existing customers, and if so, show you how to get them, before discussing how you can get signed up and what to expect.
We scanned the Triumph Rips app and we did not see any promo codes, in the same way that there weren’t any Collectibles.com codes when we reviewed that platform too. It looks like this operator is frugal when it comes to bonuses, and the only real things that stood out to use were the refer-a-friend scheme and the buyback feature for the pack contents.
When we registered our Triumph Rips account, we were not given any type of welcome bonus which was disappointing. Something like a deposit match bonus, or even a discounted first pack purchase would have been nice. Still, this is not uncommon in mystery box sites as some also don’t have sign-up offers for new customers.
As mentioned, there were two features at Triumph Rips that stood out to us, which were the referral bonus and buyback feature:
Now that we’ve discussed the promos and bonus features here, we want to delve into the app itself and see what the average customer experience is like. The basic premise of Triumph Rips is that you buy mystery packs which contain trading cards – each pack has a random pool of potential cards that you can pull, with varying rarity levels and values. Some can be more than the pack value, while others can be lower. It’s essentially a fun way to build your collection, with the chance to get some mega rare pulls.

At the moment, Triumph Rips specializes in Pokemon and NBA trading cards as these are generally the two most popular types of cards you can buy. There are a range of different pack types starting from $1, and as they increase in price, you generally get an increased chance of pulling higher rarity and higher value cards. For Pokemon, you can expect cards from all the different series and sets, while for NBA, they feature cards from top producers like Topps and Panini.
One of the main things we noted when creating this Triumph Rips review was that it’s a mobile-only experience. The desktop website is basically a landing page that has links to the different products they offer, but from what we can see, you cannot register an account or use the mystery box features. The app is available via the App Store and Google Play Store, and both have great ratings.
We like the theme, design, and layout of the app, and it really gives you a smooth pack ripping experience and the ability to manage your account and collection easily. The actual animations and pack ripping process is pretty fun too.
We’ve now been using the Triumph Rips app for some time now and we can safely say that it is one of the better options available, despite not having any promo codes or bonuses outside of the referral scheme. The app itself works really well and has been designed with user-experience at the forefront, the pack variety and value is also solid, and we think they’ve done a great job of including a variety of desirable Pokemon and NBA trading cards.
They definitely need to add some promotions though and a Triumph Rips promo code – something simple like a free pack or discounted pack would go a long way for new customers. We also think a desktop version of the site would give users that little bit of extra flexibility.
That’s our Rips by Triumph promo code review completed, and for now, we did draw a blank when it came to bonuses and promotional features for the mystery pack section of this app. There does look to be a bonus for the Rips Arcade app, but nothing otherwise.
This might change in time though, and regardless of the lack of promos, we know this is one of the better sites when it comes to NBA and Pokemon trading card random packs – the prices are reasonable, there’s full transparency about the odds, and they have a cool buyback feature too. If you want to try it out for yourself, all you have to do is click the banners on this page to get signed up.
We’ve not currently seen any Rips by Triumph promo codes – there doesn’t look to be anything like a signup bonus either. You might be able to get a welcome bonus for the Rips Arcade, but this is a completely different section of the site that we aren’t covering in this review.
Rips by Triumph should be available to US customers in all states – you can click the banners we have on this page for more regional/state information, and to see if there are any promos you can get.
Yes. We’ve tested the app extensively and the pack ripping system and are confident the products are advertised, together with the odds of the different items you can pull.
At the moment, when we created this Rips by Triumph review, they only offered Pokemon and NBA trading card mystery packs. Perhaps this will expand in time and they might add other popular brands like One Piece and NFL trading cards.
