What we like about Modo casino
While there are several alternatives to Modo casino that I have already listed, this site itself is also a solid choice to use. I like a lot of things about it, such as its interesting game portfolio of over 900 options. Can you find other operators with more games – yes, but I enjoyed the interesting slots, live dealer titles and even liked its Plinko.
Another aspect of the Modo sweepstakes casino that I enjoyed is the bonuses. I was thrilled to receive the 20,000 GC and 1 SC no deposit bonus because it gave me a good start.
Lastly, I also liked Modo’s mobile website. I was not surprised that the sweepstakes casino lacks a proper application because most operators are like that. The good thing is that the mobile site was worth visiting.
Reasons to look for an alternative to Modo.us
To be honest, people have different reasons for looking for a Modo.us alternative. One of them is related to the mobile gambling experience and the lack of an application. Yes, many sweepstakes casinos don’t have a working application, but others do and some players prefer using it.
Another reason why Modo.us may not be ideal for everyone is the absence of certain bonuses. The no deposit bonus is solid, but I wish the site also had cashback promotions. Fortunately, the good news is that the operator has jackpots and even a VIP program.
The last reason why I believe you may want a Modo.us alternative is because of its availability. Although you can find the operator in many states, it remains unavailable in places like Washington, Nevada, Michigan, Idaho and a few others I listed earlier.
The best sites like Modo.us casino in detail
Now that you know how I select the best sweepstakes sites like Modo.us Casino, let me introduce my top picks:
Sixty6 – broader list of games and providers
Sixty6: Pros and Con
- Fast and reliable redemption process
- Around-the-clock live chat support
- 1x playthrough requirement
- Diversified slot collection
Alongside what I recommended earlier, I also feel like Sixty6 can be a solid alternative to Modo.us. For starters, this sweepstakes casino has more games and offers titles from a broader list of software providers like BGaming, ElaGames and Hacksaw, to name a few.
Another aspect that makes Sixty6 a solid choice for sweepstakes casino fans is the promotions. The welcome offer, which grants 75,000 GC and 2 SC, is among the best in the industry, and the operator also offers a Referral Bonus and leaderboard contests.
Sixty6 also comes with a solid mobile platform that will let you experience what you like from the palm of your hand.
Modo.us vs Sixty6
Sixty6 is one of the strongest alternatives to Modo.us for players who value game selection. While Modo.us offers more than 800 casino-style games, Sixty6 features over 1,500 titles from leading software providers. Both platforms offer welcome bonuses, recurring promotions and mobile-friendly gameplay, but Sixty6 tends to place greater emphasis on its promotional offers and extensive catalogue. Players who prioritise variety may favour Sixty6.
LoneStar – better quality mobile experience
LoneStar Casino: Pros and Cons
- Small but quality game collection
- Reliable payment options
- Requires zero purchases
- Excellent RTP
LoneStar is another sweepstakes casino that I recommend checking if you are looking for an alternative to Modo.us. The site attracts people by offering a welcome bonus of 100,000 Gold Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins. Keep in mind the welcome offer is just one of the promos because you can also find a daily login bonus of 5,000 GC and 0.30 SC, a mail-in bonus of 1 SC, a special first purchase promo, and a refer a friend scheme.
Outside of the bonuses, LoneStar also provides a quality mobile experience. You do not have to think about downloading and installing applications because the operator uses an advanced mobile site. Thanks to the HTML5 coding, you can play on your browser without any additional steps.
Lastly, I also want to say that LoneStar’s game portfolio is solid. The site provides over 500 different options and new titles are added weekly. You can find titles from the world’s leading providers like NetEnt, for example. I enjoyed options such as Starburst XXXtreme, Joker’s Jewels and Sword King.
Modo.us vs LoneStar
Both Modo.us and LoneStar offer sweepstakes casino gameplay but LoneStar places greater emphasis on daily challenges and recurring promotions. Modo.us provides a larger game library and VIP rewards programme, while LoneStar attracts players with its daily login bonuses and promotional events. Both casinos are mobile-friendly, making them suitable for players who primarily use their mobile.
WOW Vegas — Best for video slots
Pros and cons
- Top slot games
- Quick signup
- Big Betsoft slots
- Megaways games
If you’re a slot enthusiast, WOW Vegas has what you need. The sweepstakes casino boasts over 1,200 games, and over 90% of the games in the collection are slots. I found several classics with a fruit theme and limited bonus features. However, I was more impressed by the quality of video slots I discovered on the site.
WOW Vegas is also popular for its regular tournaments. These contests are usually free to enter, with simple participation terms that make them perfect for new and existing players. Plus, you become a VIP member from the moment you create an account on the site. You get better bonuses as you progress through the levels.
Modo.us vs WOW Vegas
WOW Vegas is one of the most established sweepstakes casino brands in the US market and competes closely with Modo.us. While Modo.us offers more than 800 games and a dedicated VIP programme, WOW Vegas is known for its generous promotions and regular tournaments. Both casinos support mobile play without requiring downloads.
McLuck – Sweepstakes casino with an extensive games lobby
McLuck: Pros & Cons
- Generous welcome bonus
- Daily promotions
- 24/7 live chat customer support
- Slots from top developers
- Mobile app still under development
Every gamer in the US who has ever gotten into sweepstakes gaming has probably come across McLuck at least twice. Yes, it’s that popular, and for very good reasons.
First and foremost, it has one of the most extensive game lobbies around for a sweepstakes casino, which features over 1,200 titles from top providers like NetEnt and Relax Gaming. Simply put, there are more than enough high-quality games available to spend your bonuses. When you sign up on the site, you’ll receive 7,500 Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweeps Coins to jump straight into your favorite games with no need of spending any money on optional GC bundles. When I got mine, I was excited to launch Starburst straight away.
The site also has top-of-the-class designated mobile apps for both Android and iOS players. McLuck is an exciting site, and you should definitely check it out!
Modo.us vs McLuck
Modo.us and McLuck both offer extensive sweepstakes casino libraries and regular promotional offers. Modo.us has a slightly larger game selection, while McLuck is particularly strong when it comes to customer support and loyalty rewards. McLuck also offers around-the-clock live chat support, which gives them the edge for players who value responsive assistance.
Sidepot – Dive into the Original Games
Pros and Cons of Sidepot.us
- Generous signup offer
- 1,000+ casino-style games
- Sidepot.us Originals collection
- Great site design
- Restricted in 11 US states
Visit Sidepot
Choosing Sidepot will give you access to a no deposit bonus of 10,000 Gold Coins and 1 free Sweeps Cash as soon as you sign up. The good news is that this is just one of the many propositions you can access because there is also a 100% boost on your first deposit.
Outside of bonuses, Sidepot is famous for offering games from more than 25 world-class casino software companies. You can find titles from Onlyplay, NetGaming, and Playson, among many others. The company is home to tons of slots and you can even find Sidepot originals. These are unique games, such as HuLo, Limbo and Wheel of Fortune, that are only available here.
Modo.us vs Sidepot
Modo.us has the advantage when it comes to game variety as they offer more than 800 titles alongside a VIP rewards programme for regular players. Sidepot takes a simpler approach, focusing on accessible gameplay and straightforward promotions. Both are mobile-friendly and can be accessed directly through a browser without downloading an app. Players looking for long-term rewards may prefer Modo.us, while Sidepot is a solid choice for those seeking a more streamlined sweepstakes experience.
SpinBlitz – Broad range of game & good bonuses
SpinBlitz is another excellent option for people looking for an alternative to Modo. It welcomes new users with 7500 Gold Coins and 2.5 free Sweepstakes Coins. Outside of that, you can also find a daily login deal, referral bonus, and tournaments, among others.
Another aspect that SpinBlitz is famous for is its over 1,500 casino-style games. The site also provides a quality customer support department available 24/7, secure transactions, and an advanced mobile site. Although there are no apps, mobile users will not have any issues accessing what they like.
Modo.us vs SpinBlitz
SpinBlitz is one of the newer sweepstakes casinos competing with Modo.us and stands out thanks to its jackpot-focused features, including hourly, daily and special Blitz jackpots. Modo.us counters with a larger established game library, VIP rewards and a wider range of ongoing promotions. Neither platform currently requires players to download a dedicated app, as both offer full mobile browser compatibility. If jackpot prizes are your priority, SpinBlitz may be the better fit.

Quick facts about sites like Modo.us Casino

- These brands offer you generous bonuses you can use to play for free.
- As sweepstakes casinos, sites like Modo.us Casino offer the opportunity to get real prizes.
What to consider when choosing an alternative social casino
Many people decide not to choose an alternative social casino because they believe it’s too difficult. While there are different aspects players must take into account, the process is simpler than it seems.
- Focus on security: ensure the social casino you choose is secure. Check the platform’s reputation and developer background and see everything it has to offer. Reading user reviews can also help identify issues like frequent glitches and aggressive ads.
- Examine how the virtual currency system works: most social casinos out there will only offer two virtual currencies – Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins. That said, you can often come across companies that have a lot more than that. Many of them tend to be very generous when it comes to the bonuses they have, while others make progress slowly. You have to decide what’s important to you and stick to it when choosing such a site.
- Consider game variety and performance: every good alternative social casino needs to have all of the popular casino-style games. Most platforms will only focus on slots, but others also provide live dealer games, fishing games and even crash titles. Assuming the site also has a mobile app, you need to pay special attention to loading times and app crashes.
- Check the monetization practises: All social casinos will most likely let you redeem your SC, so you must check the process. Pay attention to how many coins you need to have, whether there is any playthrough requirement, and how long all of that takes. Ideally, you also have to test the customer support department and see how they handle your queries.
How do I pick sweepstakes casinos like Modo.us?
To ensure I select only the best platforms, I consider several factors when picking brands. Similar to how I selected
casinos like Sportzino, I checked the site’s functionality, games, bonuses, and payment methods, to mention a few.
Here’s a more detailed breakdown of the most important details I look out for when picking sites like Modo Casino:
🎮 Website Design and Functionality
No player wants to deal with lags in the middle of an exciting gaming session. So, I always evaluate how well the sweepstakes casino performs. I pay attention to the design and layout to ensure navigation is easy. I then play various games and visit various sections on the platform to see how fast the sweepstakes casino loads.
I know that sweepstakes casinos don’t need licenses to operate, but they still have to be safe. Remember that you must verify your account and should you look into making a purchase, you’ll reveal personal and financial details on the platform. That’s why I ensure the platform has adequate security measures to protect sensitive details.
I went through the terms and conditions when selecting sites like Modo.us Casino. The same applied during my selection process of top
sites like Jackpota. The fine print must be clear, concise, and easy to locate. This way, players know what to expect when they play on the sweepstakes casino.
Purchases are not necessary, but if you decide to buy Gold Coin packs, you need suitable payment methods. You also need these options when redeeming Sweepstakes Coins for cash prizes. I expect regular credit cards and bank transfers. E-wallets and cryptocurrencies are welcome additions.
Comparing my top sites to Modo.us
I’m going to place the two platforms I selected side by side with Modo.us to see how they stack up in different areas:
Games
Modo.us has over 900 games that span various categories, including slots, jackpot games, live dealer games, and specialty games like Plinko and Mines.
The Money Factory also has an extensive selection with enough live dealer games like Modo.us. WOW Vegas does not have live dealer games, but it includes several instant-win options and a few WOW exclusives that you won’t find on other sites.
Bonuses
At Modo.us, you kickstart your gaming session with a no-deposit bonus of 20,000 GC and 1 SC. The platform also has a progressive daily bonus and social media giveaways. Both sites like Modo.us have even more generous offers.
For welcome bonuses, WOW Vegas takes the lead as it offers a massive 250,000 WOW coins and 5 Sweeps Coins. Meanwhile, The Money Factory doesn’t have as many bonuses as its counterparts, but it holds regular Facebook contests where it provides free coins to winners.
VIP program
The Money Factory doesn’t have a VIP program like Modo.us. However, if you’re interested in alternatives to such programs, opt for WOW Vegas. Like Modo.us, WOW Vegas has a simple tiered scheme that you become part of immediately after completing the simple registration process.
The program has six levels: Rising, Blue, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Hosted. You get the best rewards when you reach the final tier. Some of the bonuses you receive include monthly offers, daily login deals, birthday bonuses, and even special packages.
Mobile compatibility
Modo.us doesn’t have an app, and the same can be said of The Money Factory. Both websites function smoothly on mobile devices, but don’t expect a downloadable application. If you’re after mobile sweepstakes apps, WOW Vegas is the best option. The brand has an app for iOS and Android that you can easily download and install on your device.

Here’s an overview of the restricted states for each sweepstakes casino:

The best sweepstakes casino, like Modo, depends on your preference. So, when choosing an alternative, put your interests first. If you mostly enjoy slots and instant win games, WOW Vegas has what you need.
The Money Factory boasts regular tournaments and is available in most parts of the United States. However, if you have nothing in mind and just want to explore other platforms besides Modo.us, try out all two.
