SplashCoins Sweepstake Casino has recently launched and in my review I’ll take a closer look at what the site has to offer, starting with the welcome bonus. As a new player, you can get 150k Gold Coins (GC) and 2 Splash Coins (SC) free.
While this is a half-decent offer, I’ve definitely seen better, and the same can be said for the game selection. While there are some cool slots. Such as Money Train 4 by Relax Gaming, the site is lacking in other casino-style games. For instance, there aren’t any table games, live dealers, or fish tables.

SplashCoins is one of many brand new social casinos to hit the US market in recent years. In a bid to cut through the noise of this crowded market, they have put a free welcome offer on the table for new customers.
As a new player, you can get 150,000 Gold Coins (GC) and 2 Splash Coins (SC) when you create your new account. This offer isn’t bad by any stretch of the imagination, but I must admit that I was expecting a little bit more from a relatively new brand that’s trying to break into the market.
You don’t need to use a SplashCoins promo code to claim this offer. If you pre-register for your account ahead of the launch date (more info below), the 150k GC + 2 SC will be added to your account once the site finally goes live.
Here’s the key info that you need to know about the offer:
Sweepstakes casino brand: | SplashCoins 💦 |
Free sign-up offer: | 150,000 GC + 2 SC 🏆 |
Daily reload: | Yes ✅ |
First-purchase promotion: | No ❌ |
Promo code: | N/A ❌ |
The SplashCoins website has a professional-looking design with decent graphics. Moreover, I found that it was simple to navigate, find the games, and get all the info I needed before signing up.
That being said, there aren’t any standout features that make this online sweepstakes casino distinctly different from any other. Don’t get me wrong, it’s fine, but it doesn’t have any unique features or bold branding.
It’s a fine effort, but I can think of at least 10 other US sweepstakes casino sites just like it off the top of my head.
While the site is live, this new USA sweepstakes casino hasn’t officially launched yet, so you can’t actually register your account. However, can already pre-register for an account by following the steps below:
There currently isn’t an official SplashCoins app for iOS and Android devices, and there doesn’t appear to be a plan to launch one when the website goes live. You can access the homepage in its current form via the mobile-optimized website.
I’ve tried it on Google Chrome, Safari, and a couple of other mobile browsers, and it worked pretty well. However, as you can’t yet access the game or full account capabilities, I’m not yet in a position to properly pass judgment on the mobile experience.
I’ve had a decent browse through the games lobby at this free SC casino, and there doesn’t seem to be many casino-style games besides slots. That said, there’s a diverse range of slot games, including classics, themed video slots, and jackpots.
I was pretty excited to see Money Train 4 and Lure of Fortune by Relex Gaming. Other than that, however, there weren’t many other slots or software providers that I recognized.
As I said before, it’s still a fairly new social casino, so there’s still time for the game selection to increase and improve., Ideally, I’d like to see more slots added alongside some other casino-style games, such as table games, live dealers, and some instant wins.
The keen-eyed readers among you will have already noticed that I’ve mentioned Gold Coins (GC) and Splash Coins (SC) a couple of times. But what exactly are these things?
Simply put, there are two virtual currencies that you can use to play casino-style games on this site. Neither of them has any real-world value, but they each serve a unique and distinctly different purpose, as I’ve explained for you here:
I should start here by reminding you that you don’t have to spend any money to play at social casinos like this one. If you like, you can continually play slots and other casino-style games for free.
However, the option to purchase Gold Coins (GC) is there. As I said above, you cannot purchase Splash Coins (SC), though you can get them free as a bonus with special GC purchase packs.
Sadly, there isn’t a massive amount of information about GC purchases, and I was unable to test the process as the site hasn’t launched yet. To hazard an educated guess, you will probably be able to buy GC bundles with your credit or debit card, and there might also be an e-wallet option available, such as Skrill or PayPal.
However, at this moment in time, I can’t confirm anything about prices, the number of GCs you will get, or whether or not there will be deals. At most other sweepstakes casinos, you can find some promo packs that come with free SCs as a bonus, though, so this is something that I expect to see.
To be able to redeem a prize with your eligible SCs, you must meet the following conditions:
When you meet these conditions, you can request to redeem your SCs for prizes at the rate of 1 SC = 1 USD. Once again, I’ve not yet been able to redeem a prize myself, so I can’t give you an accurate report of how long and how smooth the process is.
As things stand, there isn't any contact information on the site, nor is there a live chat or listed email address. Naturally, this came as something of a disappointment to me, but I can only hope that it will be rectified after the launch date.
There is a small FAQ section with short answers that I found a bit vague and uninformative. The best way to get the info that you need right now is to read the T&Cs, privacy Policy, and other documents, which is quite time-consuming.
One slight upside is that this brand’s social media game is much stronger than its customer service. You can find SplashCoins on the following platforms:

The SplashCoins website appears to be secure enough, and it at least has HTTPS and other basic encryption. There isn’t yet a password or 2FA requirement for the pre-registration, and nothing on the site that points to such a feature being available. However, I’ll hold out hope and reserve judgment until I can confirm or deny this either way.
When it comes to legality, SplashCoins appears to adhere to US and individual states' laws on sweepstakes and social gaming. To legally create an account and play on this site, you must be aged 18+ and not located in one of these prohibited states:
Besides the welcome offer here are the SplashCoins no deposit bonus codes and offers for existing players that I know about so far:
In summary, this doesn’t look like a bad sweepstakes casino from what I know so far. However, it’s got a long way to go before I can recommend it as one of the standout operators on the market. Let’s sit tight for now and see how it grows and develops.
While it’s not the greatest sweepstakes casino in the world, it’s definitely not a scam.
Yes, SplashCoins is safe and secure, at least on a basic level. However, it lacks 2FA and other protocols to keep your account that extra bit more secure.
SplashCoins works, like most social casinos, by allowing you to play slots using virtual currencies instead of real money. You can play with Gold Coins (GC) just for fun and with Splash Coins (SC) to potentially redeem SC winnings for real sweepstakes prizes, subject to the 100 SC minimum balance threshold and 1x playthrough.
SplashCoins is legit and legal for US players aged 18+ in most states. However, it is currently excluded in Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Kentucky, Michigan, Connecticut, New Jersey, Montana, and Maryland.
