Zonko is a new sweepstakes casino that offers a 3,000 Gold Coins sign-up bonus, multiple promos for existing players, and a 500-game library. There’s also a tiered VIP program with multiple perks and rewards.
How does it all work? Well, that’s what my Zonko review is about. I offer a quick overview of the site’s operations and detail how to use its services. If you keep reading long enough, you’ll discover how well its features work and the pros and cons of using its services. I also address relevant questions gamers ask about Zonko.

Zonko is a recently launched sweepstakes brand that’s available in all US states except Washington, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada, Montana, Delaware, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and California. You must also be 18+ to use the site’s services.
Like all sweepstakes sites, Zonko is powered by virtual currencies instead of real money. Here’s how they both work:
Signing up to Zonko is hassle-free, and all you’d have to do is take these steps:
Click on our on-page banners to visit the Zonko official website.
Tap the “Join Now” button at the top right of the homepage.
Provide your email and password.
Confirm that you’re 18+, don’t live in any of the site’s prohibited territories, and that you’ve read and agree to the site’s T&Cs and Privacy Policy.
Click on the “Join Now” button to complete the sign-up process.
Once you complete the sign-up process, you’ll be redirected back to the site where you can then claim your welcome bonus.
After registering at Zonko, I checked out its features and have detailed my experience so you know what to expect:
Once Zonko lets you in, it welcomes you with two bonus offers. There’s a no-purchase 3,000 GC sign-up bonus that’s yours to claim with the tap of a button. I had expected a larger offer, seeing as the site’s new and would look to improve Zonko ratings in the USA with a generous sign-up bonus. That said, 3,000 GC is still enough to kickstart your adventures at the site.
If you’d like to extend your playing sessions, the site also offers a $20 optional first GC pack purchase deal. With this deal, you can get up to 112,000 GC, 75 SC for free, and a spin on the Infinity Wheel (you can get up to 15 free SC from one spin). You’ll get 60,000 GC + 50 free SC and a spin on the Infinity Wheel immediately upon purchase. The site then offers you 52,000 GC + 25 free SC over 8 days if you log in consecutively. Here’s what you’ll get:
Again, you don’t need optional GC pack purchases to play at Zonko, but you can use them to extend your playing sessions. You also won’t need a Zonko promo code to activate either of the site’s welcome offers.
Zonko partners with 10+ software providers, including Playson, Dragon Gaming, Habanero, NetEnt, NoLimit, BetSoft, and KA Gaming. A couple of Zonko reviews I’ve seen give the site the thumbs-up for its game collection, and I agree.
Although I didn’t find table games or social live dealer titles, you can play multiple types of slot titles, scratchcards, and fish games. Some of my recommended games include:
I didn’t find table games or social live dealer games, but that didn’t affect my Zonko ratings, as there are still enough titles to play.
I like the site’s dark-hued background and how it contrasts with the brightly coloured game tiles and buttons. The layout also does it for me, as you’ll find all the information you need in one place, without much clutter.
At the top right of the homepage is your virtual currency balance, a toggle to switch modes, and a “Buy Coins” button. There’s a “?” icon right next to them that leads you straight to the site’s FAQs section, so you quickly understand how the site works.
To the left of the screen is a menu with links such as “Promotions”, “Buy Coins”, “Help”, and “Redeem.” I like the way the games are categorized into “Newest”, “Bonus Buy Games”, “Hand Picked For You”, and “Trending.” Above the casino lobby are banners describing several of the site’s offers, and below the casino lobby, you’ll find a list of the site’s supported software providers. To the site’s footer are links to its Terms of Service, Sweepstakes Rules, Support, and Responsible Gaming pages.
Zonko social casino currently doesn’t offer a dedicated app. However, based on my tests, I agree with several Zonko reviews that the site offers a great mobile gaming experience. The site offers a progressive web app (PWA) that you can install directly to your mobile device, and it works just like a native app. The site’s also mobile-optimized so that you can access it via your mobile browser.
Although you don’t need optional GC pack purchases to play at Zonko, these purchases can help extend your playing sessions. You can also redeem your eligible SC for cash prizes. To do these, you’d need reputable payment options, and Zonko offers those.
For optional GC pack purchases, you can use Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, or Apple Pay, and you’ll receive your GC immediately after the transaction is completed.
You’d also be able to redeem your SC for cash prizes via the same payment methods that you used to purchase your optional GC packs. Prize redemption times vary per payment method, but they are generally within 3 to 10 business days. Note that you can only make optional GC pack purchases or redeem prizes after verifying your Zonko account.

My Zonko ratings for this review dropped a bit when I tested its support channels and found only email and FAQs available. That said, it took a little less than three hours to get a response from the email support team, which is above average in my experience.
The answers in the FAQs section aren’t as detailed as I expected, and I got the impression they’re still a work in progress. To be fair, Zonko’s new on the scene, and it might update its support channels later.

You won’t find a traditional gaming license at Zonko, since it operates on a free-to-play model and doesn’t need one. Instead, it complies with US sweepstakes laws and is only available in those US states where local legislation permits its operations.
My checks also revealed that Zonko is secure. The site employs advanced SSL encryption to protect your data. It also has strict verification checks to prevent underage gaming and ensure that only players 18+ can use its services. I also found a responsible gaming page that features several tools to set daily and weekly limits on your optional GC pack purchases, take breaks during your playing sessions, or self-exclude if you want to.
My Zonko ratings may have dropped a tad because of the site’s customer support. However, they increased somewhat at the available promotions for existing players.
There’s a seven-tiered VIP program at Zonko where you’re automatically enrolled in after signing up. Here are the tiers in the VIP program:
You’ll need Stars to move up each tier, and the perks and rewards increase as you move up the tiers.
With this promotion, you’ll get different rewards for logging in once every 24 hours. To claim your daily bonus, click on the “Bonuses” link to claim what’s available for the day.
There are daily, weekly, and special-themed tasks at Zonko from which you can claim GC, SC, or Stars. All you’d have to do is complete the required tasks and claim your rewards.
Zonko offers tournaments where leading participants can get GC, SC, or Stars. However, the tournaments only accept a limited number of participants.
With the Bonus Boost promotion, you’ll get rewarded for purchasing optional GC packs. What you get as rewards depends on the kind of GC packs you purchase.
I found Mini, Major, and Grand jackpots on designated slot games. However, you can only participate in these jackpots by using SC.
With this weekly promotion, you’ll be awarded scratch cards that come with bonus GC and SC.
The Season Pass promotion allows you to purchase a Pass that awards GC, SC, and Stars.
You can also claim 3 SC by sending a mail-in request to the site’s physical headquarters. The requirements for sending this request are detailed in the Sweepstakes Rules page. Note that you’d need to have verified your account before sending mail-in requests.
I wasn’t exactly impressed when I learned that Zonko offered a no-purchase bonus of 3,000 GC. It’s a new site, after all, and so I had expected it to “go all in” with its welcome bonus. However, after checking out its first optional GC pack purchase deal, its VIP program, and its promos for existing players, I changed my mind.
The site’s look and ease of use on my PC and smartphone also got it some review points. There are plenty of engaging titles to check out, and although you won’t find many payment methods, the available ones are secure. Although the email support could be better, it’s still early days, and that could be updated soon.
My verdict? Zonko is worth your time, and our on-page banners make it easier to sign up. Simply click and follow the prompts.
You’ll receive 3,000 GC after signing up for the site. No code needed
The site is available in all US states except Washington, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada, Montana, Delaware, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and California.
No, it isn’t. The site complies with US sweepstakes laws and deploys security measures to protect its players
