Unbox.gg offers 100+ mystery boxes you can rip which include fashion items, Pokémon cards, gaming items, and more. I also found some cool PVP and PVE battle modes where you can try and grab boxes from other players.
Based on this, I’ve made the below Unbox.gg review. I’ll first check to see what welcome bonus they offer, and then look at the mystery boxes and how they work. On top of that, I’ll make sure the brand is legit, and that it has core features like support, varied payments, and transparency for its unboxing.

The first thing I noticed when starting this Unbox.gg review was that they have a daily login bonus where you can get a free mystery box. I was looking forward to trying this out as it would give me an easy way to understand how the site works. So, I created my Unbox.gg login, and on the homepage saw the following to open:
There’s also other features here like the different rakeback bonuses you can claim, and the rewards level cases you get as you progress through the tiers. The Daily Recruit Degen I Case I opened had the following potential items:
The reality here is that you’re most likely getting the Paper Clip – that’s exactly what I got, so my welcome bonus was a massive $0.01! Not exactly the stuff dreams are made of, but I got to open a mystery box for free and see what the site was all about – you can’t complain about that.
Similar to the usability I explained in my Cases.gg review, Unbox.gg has done a great job with the site. Some mystery box sites can look a mess – Unbox.gg doesn’t do that. Instead, it’s got a pretty streamlined layout and I think beginners will be able to find their way around. At the top you get the main nav with the different features like the cases, battles, and upgrader.
Plus, there’s also a handy profile icon where you can view everything to do with your account. This includes your box opening history, payments, and delivery options, etc.
I do think the cases section can be organized better though. There’s just a massive list of all the cases you can open with no real organization – most of the cases don’t even have a name that reflects what’s inside them, so it can be confusing. This is saved a little by the search bar and the fact that you can change the volatility, but it would be cool if they would at least organize them into categories like gaming and fashion.
Lastly, I didn’t find an Unbox.gg app. Instead, the desktop site converts to a mobile-responsive site if you open it on your smartphone. I tested it – it’s just as good as the desktop site, and they have managed to make the cases easy to manage on a much smaller screen.
So, I’d looked for a potential Unbox.gg bonus code, and checked how the site works. Now it was time to move into the technical part of this Unbox.gg review.
I clicked on the “Wallet” button at the top of Unbox.gg and saw my deposit and withdrawal options. These include Litecoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, USDT, USDC, Gift Card, Visa, and MasterCard. This meant I was able to use fiat or crypto.
I stuck with fiat, and used Visa debit to credit my account – the process was smooth and secure. My deposits were added instantly, and the two withdrawals I requested were both approved and processed within the hour which I thought was superb.

Just like I found with my Pickem Ripping Packs review, Unbox.gg has great security. As I’ve already mentioned, the boxes and other gamification features use RNG systems and have provably fair technology to verify the results. Also, the site itself had SSL encryption, and I had to verify my email before I could deposit money and start unboxing.
I needed some help with this Unbox.gg review so I used the live chat feature. I got to speak to a support rep called Pele within 2 seconds! It was a great experience and he helped me immediately. I asked about a welcome bonus, and although he said there wasn’t one, he directed me to their Discord and said I may be able to find stuff there. Email support is also an option, but I’d recommend sticking with the live chat.

I had no doubts about the legitimacy of this brand while making my Unbox.gg ratings. Every mystery box has the following:
On top of that, they have provably fair technology for the opening and use RNG systems to make sure each unboxing is random. You can also look at the provably fair results after each unboxing and for the PVP battles.
With my Goatbox review, I thought there was room for improvement with the gaming variety. However, this wasn’t the case with Unbox.gg. Instead, there’s three game modes. Cases are the main highlight and this is where you open the mystery boxes, but there’s also the fun Battles feature, and the upgrader system.
First up I wanted to try out the cases and see what different goods you can get. Now, this is not a card rip site, and Unbox.gg doesn’t have an emphasis on TCG. Instead, it’s got virtually every type of entertainment/luxury item you can think of – there’s hundreds of different cases to choose from. Some of the cases I saw had the following items in them:
One that caught my eye was the “Poke Blast” box which is $47.97. This had a range of different Pokémon-related items including cards, packs, booster boxes, and plushies. You can see some of the drop rates and items from it below:
| Item | Drop Rate | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Pokémon Base Set Booster Box | 0.0050% | $16,800.00 |
| Pokémon Evolutions Booster Box | 0.1585% | $1,800.00 |
| 2002 Pokémon Expedition Blastoise | 2.550% | $275.00 |
| 2022 Pokémon Sword & Shield Ho-oh | 7.550% | $55.00 |
To be clear, for each box, there is a pool of potential items you can pull. Each one has a set percentage of being pulled, and an associated value. There is a proper RNG system that determines the outcome of each unboxing. With your item, you can either sell it back to Unbox.gg at the stated price, or you can have it shipped to an address of your choice.
I also noticed that the box has different volatility levels. This equates to your risk/reward factor. For example, a box with a low volatility rating has a lower chance of hitting the high value items, but you’re more likely to get back closer to the box cost. Whereas, a high volatility box will give you an improved chance of pulling high value items, but at the same time, you’ve got a much higher chance of hitting a dud.
I’ve seen battles before with my Clash.gg review and Unbox.gg has a similar feature. This is a type of PVP and PVE game where you put up a specific mystery box into the prize pool. Other players or Unbox.gg bots will also do the same. So, for example, you might have 6 players all who have put up a gaming mystery box.
The game then starts, and it’s played in rounds. Each round, everyone unboxes a prize from their chosen box – the value of the item is then added to your overall value total for the game. This continues until all the preset rounds have been done. At the end, the winner is the person or team with the biggest value and they get to keep it all, plus the value from everyone else’s boxes!
It’s definitely a cool feature and Unbox.gg allows you to create your own battles with loads of different parameters. For example, there’s team or group battles, free-for-all battles, and different game modes to try out.
I stayed away from the Upgrader feature – I don’t like this game mode, and how Unbox.gg has done it is a little confusing. The premise is supposedly that you choose a single item that you can get from the Unbox.gg mystery boxes. Then, you select a percentage chance and play the amount that you want to put up to try and get said item.
You then click the play button, and the upgrader wheel spins and you either win or don’t. If you win, you get the item, plus any bonus money you managed to save. But, if you lose, you get nothing and you lose your initial play amount. The highest percentage you can set this to at Unbox.gg is 89.06% and you can select any item at all – from watches and cars to TCG and fashion.
This Unbox.gg review showed me all this mystery box site has to offer and it’s certainly one of the top options! I think in terms of variety, it’s right up there with the best sites for mystery box contents – whether you’re looking for fashion, gaming items, trading cards, or other luxury goods.
On top of that, you get the cool daily reward feature, the progression of the rewards program, and the epic PVP and PVE battles game mode. All of this combines together to provide an entertaining affair and I definitely recommend it. To have a go and start unboxing yourself, feel free to click any of the Unbox.gg banners on this page!
Yes! I’m confident with what I saw from this Unbox.gg review. Everything is 100% transparent – you get the full odds and value of each item you can pull from the mystery boxes. Plus, there are provably fair metrics and seeds that you can check to verify the result of each unboxing or battle.
Yes. There are a few dedicated Pokémon-themed mystery boxes, plus some general TCG boxes that include Pokémon cards, booster packs, and booster boxes.
Yes! Each item you pull from an Ubox.gg mystery box can be selected for shipping. Alternatively, you can choose to sell it back to the site for the stated value.
