Thankfully, the website was created in 2017. The creator made a specific code which scans the entire Steam library for the value of each game. Through this API you can find out an accurate total for the cost of all games. 

Unfortunately, it seems like this website stopped counting in January 2024, but the number is still impressive and likely hasn’t changed all too much since then.
